Seminary teacher, Youth class teacher & Missionary!
I'm loving teaching Seminary here! We studied D&C section 3 and 10 this week. About the 116 lost pages of the Book of Mormon. It really is a great opportunity to study, teach and apply the history of Joseph Smith with the youth here. Sunday, I focused my youth class lesson on missionary work and service. It is really needed from the members to befriend and encourage the investigators everywhere in the world but I'd say especially here because people are very shy. The church is growing so much in the Philippines! (as you all know) But I'm just so excited!!! One of our investigators, Yenha (15 yrs old), came to church for the second time this Sunday! And it was Testimony meeting! The testimonies of the members here are so pure and sincere. It never gets old. The spirit rings so strongly through our meeting house.
How was your Family Home Evening? :) hmmmmm
We were punted a few times this week but we also had some great lessons! So many experiences, I can't write them all! But one cool one this week is that we (well the Elders) gave Nanay Rosalina (52 yrs old) a Priesthood blessing! She had a mild stroke, which makes life hard to get around. The spirit was strong when we asked her if she'd like to receive a blessing of comfort. We clearly explained that this love of God is for everyone and would work through her faith. I testify to that :)
As you can see from my pictures, me and Sister Honrado are doing just fine!!! :) Malipayon mi kanunay!!! We got up at 4am this morning to hurry and get ready and catch a ride to Santa Fe to see the sun rise! ( I'll attach pictures) I love the Philippines!
Don't forget to repent!
