Hapit na sa Pasko!!!

This week we visited our investigator Amor! She sells saging (bananas) so she always has tons (and I mean tons) of bananas all around her house and every time we see her she gives us like 20 bananas! We never have time to take them home so we have to carry them around all day and give them to kids or other families we visit! It's a lot of fun! 

      One of our investigators, Clydel (17yrs), noticed our bad tan lines on our arms and stared laughing pretty hard, hahah so i showed her my feet which have a big tan line right above my toes and she died laughing!! I didn't mind, It was pretty funny!  ahhahah it was a good time to laugh with her! I'll never forget that!  

      We were studying one night and a whole group of kids came by and started singing Christmas songs for the neighbors! Our door was open so we heard all of it, it was way fun to hear the Filipino Christmas songs that have now been stuck in our heads all week long hahaha.  

    Oh hey! We found a long lost member!! Nanay Emilia was baptized in Bogo 20 years ago! She has since gone to a Catholic Type church (IFI) so we will do our best to bring her back!! :) Also, She gave us a referral, her son and his wife and grandkids, who live a hike away!! We hiked for 25 minutes and got a noticeably darker tan line.:) We found them by asking people if they knew who we were looking for and they pointed us in the right direction. (that's the way you get around out here) And we did find them!!

    I was reading about Repentance this week and man, it's so important. Prophets of old until now are telling us to repent, and Christ him self. So in this busy Christmas season, focus on Christ and follow his commandment to repent and change. I committed to myself that I'd never teach a first lesson without inviting them to repent.
