Naa na ko diri sa BOHOL usab!!!
I transferred to Calape Bohol! My first area was in Tagbilaran, so just the other side of the island!
It breaks my heart saying goodbye to all the people we were teaching in Lapu-Lapu but I know I have work to do here in Calape. My new companion is Sister Aquino! Her first area was Bantayan Island which was my second area! She goes home in October, just one transfer before me. She is from Mindanao, (southern Philippines). Shes 22 and so sweet and has a very adventurous attitude which is just what this area needs! I know I'm going to learn a lot from her and improve in my Cebuano because Bisaya is her first language, Bisdak daan!!
There are only 4 sisters in our zone so we will only do exchanges once this transfer! hahah It's much different than my last area as we had exchanges every week! Our area is absolutely beautiful. Big green mountains, huge farming fields, thick trees and a lot of rain this week! We walk a ton. It's more like hiking though! They still speak Cebuano here but they speak using "j" or "z" in place of "y"! Maayo kaayo = maazo kaazo. Siya=sija. Bunyag= Bunjag!
I love the members in the branch already and I'm so excited to be here!
