ASAP

Mission leadership council with all the Zone leaders and Sister training leaders this week was great and the first one for Sister Lagdaan! We discussed the mission training plan for this transfer and President Maughan gave an inspiring workshop about the plan of Salvation and finding people to teach! "Do you know who you are and what you have?"

For this weeks exchanges I was with Sister Tura in her area, Pajo. She is only 8 weeks into the mission and Bisdak kaayo! power. We were walking home Tuesday night about 8:00 and saw a young girl crying, sitting at the side of the street. We stopped and asked her if she was okay and she said she and her family were fighting so she ran away. We introduced ourselves and encouraged her to probably go home because it was dark now. I wanted to help her but just didn't know what to do. I had a feeling that we needed to pray with her. I sat down by her and asked her if she believed in Christ and she said yes. Then I asked her if it would be okay if we prayed with her. She said yes and I explained how to pray and Sister Tura gave a prayer of comfort for Iza, right there on the side of this quiet road. We got up and gave her a TC card and off we went.

It was a strange experience but we just went with it. :)

The next morning just as we were done talking to a lady, Iza walked by and we called out to her. The first thing she said was asking if she could come to church and of course we said yes! We asked her where she was going and she said that she was just then going home because she slept on the side of the street, right where we prayed with her last night!! We asked if we could share a message with her at her home. We were in the right place (so close to her house!) at the right time. We met her family and taught them. Iza was so happy!! It's never an accident when we meet someone but this miracle was extra cool and the spirit was so strong. Iza went to church yesterday! :)  Sweet and simple miracle. Power of prayer and the Spirit.

We got the air conditioner in our room cleaned so sleep has been great. :)
